About Micro Desk
We’re business architects. We build better operating systems.
Serving businesses since 1992. Today we design the operating system a business runs on: processes, custom applications, automation and secure IT.
Our story
From IT support to business architecture
Along the way we kept seeing the same problem: solid, established businesses running on manual work, scattered information and processes nobody had ever written down. Better computers weren’t going to fix that. Better processes and systems would.
- 1992
The beginning
Micro Desk opens as a computer sales and support company, helping local businesses get and stay up and running.
- 1990s–2010s
The trusted IT partner
Networks, servers, Exchange email, security and websites. We keep South Florida businesses running and explain technology in plain language.
- The last five years
Business architects
We saw that the real problem wasn’t the computers, it was the process. We added process design, custom applications and automation to our IT work.
- Today
Better business operating systems
We take established, manual businesses and build the processes, software, automation and secure IT that let them run smoothly, consistently and ready to grow.
The Micro Desk difference
Five things you can count on
Process first
We fix the workflow, then build technology to fit it.
One team
Process design, custom apps, automation and IT security, together.
Lean Six Sigma
Every change is measurable and grounded in how you really work.
Tested before launch
Every release is QA tested, and your data is backed up automatically.
